I’m experiencing one of the sweetest ways to share the gospel each day. Here in Ecuador I get the opportunity to read and share a short devotional with 1st-6th graders everyday during their school day!

These kids are hungry for the truth of the gospel!!

Yesterday I shared the story of John the Baptist, a friend of Jesus. I said, “Did you know you could be friends with Jesus?” Ten little eyes lit up with excitement, “No!” I continued, “Jesus is my friend and He wants to be your friend too!”

The more we learn about Jesus the more we can share who He is to others just like John the Baptist did. While I am here I plan to go through the life of Jesus with the kids and learn how we can be just like Him.

I can’t imagine a sweeter way to spend the last six weeks of my race. For most of these kids this is the first time they have ever heard these Bible stories. Please continue to pray that their hearts would be opened to hearing the truth and share with their families!
