It's a Thursday. Thursdays are usually boring, right? I've had such a good day today. The Lord has been so good during this season. With thirty-eight more days left high school, I am trying to savor every moment and not let it slip away without being grateful for the things I am experiencing.

Today I was reminded of the verse I have had memorized since I was a little girl, "This is the day that the Lord has made, let us rejoice and be glad in it." I can almost hear my mama singing the song that many of us might know. I wanted to document the joy that today has brought me and how much I am enjoying this season.

Some days are hard, really hard. Some seasons feel like they will never end. But, the goodness of Jesus can still be found in hard days and long seasons.

I do not know what you are going through right now. Maybe your Thursdays are filled with as much joy as mine or maybe this season feels one eternity long. Maybe you find yourself somewhere in between. Wherever you are, what does it look like for us today to live in the goodness of the Lord and rejoice because this is the day He has made and we are called the rejoice, cause it just might be our last.

Okay, that's all for now. Thanks for reading my Thursday thoughts!

Blessings and Joy to you,

Katherine Chandler
